We are currently experiencing an impact to our raw materials which effects our 6mm hemp ropes. The machine which spins our hemp ropes recently broke beyond repair and required outright replacement. Unfortunately this new machine currently is not producing rope which meets our standards of quality and safety. 

We have secured an alternate supply which, while being made of a superior quality hemp than was previously available, is spun in the reverse from our traditional hemp ropes- a counter-clockwise "Z-twist" rather than our usual clockwise "S-twist" (our POSH, Cotton, and Bavarian Blonde ropes are and have always been Z-twist). This change does not impact the color, function, performance, or safety but does mean it will not visually match the spin of our previous product.

This is a temporary change while our supplier's machinery is retooled to produce these higher quality ropes in our traditional S-twist, however we do not have an exact timeline for this. Note that this is currently only effecting our standard stock 6mm hemp ropes. All other ropes, including 4mm and 8mm hemp ropes, are unaffected.

Please note that due to these changes, combined with unseasonably high volume, some orders are taking a few days over our usual 10 business days for production.

In a move to help protect your privacy and reduce identity theft, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has recently increased their stringency with regard to addressee names. The USPS requires that the name listed as the recipient on a parcel match their records for occupancy in order to complete delivery. Parcels whose recipient name does not match may be (and recently have been) labeled as "undeliverable" and returned to sender.
