Returns & Warranty

The Twisted Monk wants you to be happy with your rope, however due to the typical use of our products, returns and exchanges for non-defective merchandise requires pre-approval. Please contact us to discuss available options. Please do not return any product without prior authorization.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Except in the case of defect, once our ropes and steel-goods have been removed from their original packaging and/or are no longer in their original bundles we must consider the product as used and ineligible for return or exchange.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item (except in cases of defect or fulfillment error). Shipping, gift-wrapping, and order-upgrade costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of non-refundable options and shipping will be deducted from the total.

DEFECTS/ERRORS

In the instance that the merchandise you have purchased is defective, we will honor a 30 day guarantee and provide a replacement. The replacement product will be the same product as the original (limited edition items may be subject to substitution). You must contact us within 30 days of delivery.

If you suspect an error in fulfillment of your order, please contact us. In the instance of a fulfillment error you will not be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred by return or re-shipment. International customers may be responsible for landing/import fees and/or duties/taxes based on local law. We will make every effort to indicate shipments as replacements as possible.

WARRANTIES

The Twisted Monk offers two product warranties/guarantees:

WHIPPING GUARANTEE

All of our ropes are hand-finished with our trademark bomb-proof whipped ends done in black thread, unless otherwise stated (such as with Value Line kits).

Our end whippings are guaranteed for the life of your rope, provided the ends have been trimmed in accordance with our guidelines (provided in our FAQ and rope care information cards included with your order).

In the instance that the whippings on your ropes come undone, please contact us for assessment of the best course of action (either repair or replacement). Please note that the whippings guarantee applies only to ropes made by The Twisted Monk including ropes purchased directly through TwistedMonk.com, a licensed retailer, or received as a gift.

CUT ROPE POLICY

The Twisted Monk is dedicated to safety above all else and take it very seriously. We recognize that quality rope is expensive, but rope is replaceable and people are not.

In the event that you have to cut your The Twisted Monk rope due to an emergency, we will replace it at no cost to you (limited edition items may be subject to substitution).

Our Cut Rope Policy applies only to ropes made by The Twisted Monk including ropes purchased directly through TwistedMonk.com, a licensed retailer, or received as a gift.
