Silk is an excellent starter rope for those who love luxury. With a flannel sheet-esque feel, silk holds friction well, has a comfy amount of stretch, and is easy on the hands. Silk is an ideal fiber for those who like the idea of natural fibers but have concerns about plant fiber allergies.
